Bella's Boho Mermaid Party

Bell had been asking me for a mermaid themed party for awhile, so for her 7th birthday we threw a gorgeous little boho picnic with her close friends and school friends! Trust her to face plant it on the concrete the day before pretending to be a cat! She had a huge scab down her nose, but i’m just glad it cleared up for school photos the following week!

Kylie from Enchanted Party Hire supplied her famous white party cart and these beautiful white picnic tables which were perfectly styled with some cushions and rugs thrown around it, making it a little luxe lounging area for the kids!

Sweet P cakes and cookies made these impressive, delicious donuts with fresh flowers and sprinkles. She hires out the donut wall which is a great addition to any party or celebration!

I made Bella’s cake, which was a vanilla sponge decorated with dried flowers and white chocolate mermaid tails and shells! (Just a heads up to anyone wanting to make these chocolates at home, don’t use sugar free chocolate! i tried and failed miserably! Cadbury melts came to the rescue!)

well…I need another excuse to throw a backyard picnic because it was just so damn cute! Enjoy the pics! :)
